Summary & Deal Criteria

To secure your commissions and protect your sales pipeline, every partner must register their prospective clients as early as possible.

Upon signing your partnership agreement, you will receive a unique, dedicated partner link to submit new leads to CAKE.com.

Before You Submit: Minimum Deal Size

⚠️ Important Requirement: The CAKE.com Partner Program is strictly limited to opportunities with a minimum of 20 seats on an annual subscription. If your prospect does not meet this requirement, please contact your Partner Manager to discuss alternative options before submitting.

The "First-In" Rule

Every lead must be submitted as soon as possible so our team can perform a database check. A lead cannot be allocated to your partner account if:

  1. They are already an active, existing CAKE.com client.
  2. They are already actively engaged in the internal CAKE.com sales pipeline.

If the lead is completely new and not currently in our system, we will instantly notify you that the lead has been approved, locking in your ownership of the account so you can confidently pursue the deal.

How to Submit a New Lead

When you identify a qualified prospect, visit your unique partner link to access our secure submission form.

Complete the Submission Form

Please ensure the following critical information is accurately mapped in the form:

  • Contact Information: Provide the prospect's First Name, Last Name, Business Email, and official Company Name.
  • Subscription Target: State the intended platform version and estimated seat count (e.g., Clockify Basic – 43 seats).
  • Partner Notes: Use this field to give our sales team context. Include details like your current relationship status with the lead, specific client pain points, or unique technical requirements they mentioned.

Tracking Your Lead & Closing the Deal

Phase 1: Review & Validation

Immediately after you click submit, the CAKE.com partner team reviews the data. You will receive a formal email notification shortly after confirming whether the lead has been successfully approved and allocated to your account.

Phase 2: Finalising the Sale (Activation & Invoicing)

As a partner, once your client is ready to proceed with the purchase, you must notify CAKE.com to initiate deployment and billing.

To finalise the deal, please forward the following workspace and billing details to your Partner Manager:

  • Workspace Details: The client must first create their workspace environment. Provide the exact Email Address used to create the workspace and the exact Company Name associated with it.
  • Billing Details: Complete company billing information, including the official physical Address and Tax/VAT Number.
  • Contract Specifics: The final finalized Subscription Plan, exact Number of Seats, and the exact Requested Activation Date for the software subscription.

Once this data is submitted, our team will issue the invoice, provision the accounts, and log the deal toward your next commission payout!
